Little Wings nurturing environment gives a powerful start to school
When Tammy Perdue looked for child care for her daughter Chloe, she searched for a place that would make learning fun and help her grow socially and emotionally. Chloe was shy and reserved, but when she visited Little Wings she walked into a classroom with a teacher she didn’t know and was engaged and entertained in play on the floor. Tammy knew she was in the right place.
Your generous support provided countless mornings of celebration when Chloe needed a cheerleader, patience when a day started hard, and offered lots of hugs when she was sad. “It was such a nurturing environment that it made me feel good,” said Tammy, “knowing that if I had to leave Chloe somewhere while I was working, that I was leaving her with good people.”
Chloe just finished Kindergarten at Bedford Hills Elementary in May. With the nurturing start you gave her at Little Wings she was able to transition confidently and even finished the year receiving the History Bee Champion Award. Because of you, her smile carries her forward into every new year.
