Many low-income families in the Richmond Area are struggling to get to work, move up economically, and take care of their children’s needs because they do not own a vehicle, and do not have strong enough credit to access traditional vehicle lending.

We are hard at work improving lives in the Metro Richmond Region. HumanKind’s life-changing programs and services help individuals and families develop plans for achieving financial success through innovation and adaptability, resulting in a positive impact on the community.

We provide additional support to individuals and families in order to ensure they stay on track with their financial progress. This includes employment coaching when individuals lose their job or have their hours cut, help accessing additional supportive services, and direct assistance with bill payments, car repairs, groceries, and gas.

Since 2012, HumanKind has been improving lives in the Metro Richmond Region having served more than 28,000 people including more than 500 personal fair-interest loans totaling more than $2.6M. These life-changing programs and services help individuals and families develop plans for achieving financial success through innovation and adaptability, resulting in a positive impact on the community.
