Many low-income families in the Richmond Area are struggling to get to work, move up economically, and take care of their children’s needs because they do not own a vehicle, and do not have strong enough credit to access traditional vehicle lending.

We are hard at work improving lives in the Metro Richmond Region. HumanKind’s life-changing programs and services help individuals and families develop plans for achieving financial success through innovation and adaptability, resulting in a positive impact on the community.

We provide additional support to individuals and families in order to ensure they stay on track with their financial progress. This includes employment coaching when individuals lose their job or have their hours cut, help accessing additional supportive services, and direct assistance with bill payments, car repairs, groceries and gas. Through the coronavirus pandemic, our extensive case management services have been higher – directly reflecting the needs of families are higher than ever before.

Please join us this year as we gather to continue building strong families for a stronger community. The hardships are not over. The impacts of the coronavirus pandemic are still rippling through families. Your support is critical in meeting the needs of families in the greater Richmond area.
