HumanKind 5K + Youth Run | June 8, 2019

Ready…set…go! Run on the most beautiful course in Lynchburg!

Race #3 of the Lynchburg Road Runners’ Race Series, this event begins on the historic Presbyterian Homes campus of HumanKind and winds through historic Peakland Place finishing back on campus.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION:
5K | 8:00 AM Start

$25 (through May 17) | $30 (May 18 – June 7) | $35 (Race Day June 8)

Youth Run | approximate 9:15 AM Start

 $10 (through June 7) | $15 (Race Day June 8)

Proceeds from this race benefit the programs of HumanKind, which provide a broad range of services that foster the social, mental and financial well-being of families and individuals. With a focus on empowering people of all backgrounds and abilities, HumanKind helps equip people to build better lives for themselves and their families. These programs serve thousands of people in Lynchburg and across Virginia each year!

Your registration guarantees you a spot at our start line. Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. Entry fees cannot be applied to future races or events and/or transferred to another person.

Participants:

All ages and abilities. Walkers are welcome. Dogs and strollers are prohibited.

Lynchburg Road Runners Club Member Discount:

$5 for 5K only, available through May 17

Assisted Participants:

All are welcome! Please contact the race director one week prior to race day. Both the participant being pushed and the pusher are required to register for this event.

Youth Run:

Approximately 3/4 of a mile all on the campus of HumanKind

T-shirt deadline:

Guaranteed to those registered by Friday, May 24.

Packet Pickup:

Friday, June 7 | 12:00-6:00 pm at Riverside Runners (2480 Rivermont Avenue). Race Day | 7:00-7:30 am on the HumanKind campus.

5K Awards:

Top 3 Overall M/F, Top Overall Masters M/F, Top 3 in each age group. Overall awards ranked on “gun” time / Age group results ranked on “chip” time.

Age Groups:

12 & under, 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & up. Age Group ranking based on “chip” time.
