Bequests
Consider naming HumanKind as a beneficiary in your will, trust retirement plan or life insurance policy. Please contact Kathleen Lefcourt at klefcourt@humankind.org with your intentions.

Charitable Gift Annuity
Provides you with fixed income payments for life while providing generous support for HumanKind.

Charitable Remainder Unitrust
Remove an asset from your estate and designate HumanKind as the trustee or the irrevocable beneficiary.

Charitable Lead Trust
Put an asset in trust for a period of time so that the income generated by the asset benefits HumanKind. At the end of the designated period, the asset is passed on to a named recipient.

Real estate may be deeded outright to HumanKind or left by bequest. The irrevocable gift of property may provide an immediate tax deduction and avoid capital gains. Due to complexities, be prepared to work with HumanKind and qualified advisors to ensure that this is a suitable gift for both you and for HumanKind.
