About Me
Jen cares for her clients deeply and holistically, with the understanding that each person’s unique nervous system, attachments, life experiences, and generational histories affect how they show up in the world. She works from a compassionate and trauma-informed perspective to help those seeking care to integrate and find embodiment after trauma, transition, and life stressors.
Jen worked in child welfare in Philadelphia before nestling into the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains in 2007. As a therapist, Jen believes in the power of presence and in creating space to name and move toward the deep tender places in our lives. She enjoys working with clients on a wide range of needs, from depression and life adjustments to perinatal mental health and complex trauma. With trauma-informed care, she blends mindfulness with an attachment perspective. Jen enjoys encouraging team members and resident counselors toward an integrated, embodied style of care.
Jen enjoys learning and connecting, nature and quiet spaces, and spending time with her family on their farm.
