Thinking of our friends, neighbors and community
All of you have been on my mind these last few weeks and I just wanted to reach out and check on you. Please know I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you’re healthy. I hope you’re safe and remain that way.
As part of the HumanKind family I want to share a few updates. The well-being of our employees, people we serve, and volunteers continues to be our top priority. We are considered an essential business and are still operational and still serving our individuals, children and families. Following the guidance of our state government, our offices are open on a limited basis just to serve our clients and families in need, with several of our staff working remotely and continuing services virtually.
I want to share one of our staff members Jonathan who is on the front lines serving clients supporting them through this challenging time. Because of generous support from our community we are able to help these families bridge the gap.

Two things we know for certain – we can’t get through this alone and we are going to need your help. We are working with community partners to identify ways we can work together. Our team is still talking to clients to see where the greatest needs are at this time. In the coming days as I know more and I’ll continue to update you.
We anticipate the needs of families across our region will be greater than ever and HumanKind will remain committed to serving vulnerable neighbors in need. I am eternally grateful for your support. Please continue the support as we face this challenge together. Give online today at https://support.humankind.org/coronavirus.
With gratitude,
