HumanKind and Hill City Master Gardener Davis Instructional Garden

The Hill City Master Gardener Association and HumanKind have partnered to create a community garden.  Located in the area that was once the riding ring, this garden is now maintained by HCMGA.

With the support of the Virginia Cooperative Extension office in Lynchburg,  these plots have produced wildflowers, herbs, and a wide variety of vegetables, which have been donated to area food partners.

When completed, the garden will include exhibits on land stewardship, healthy eating and food preparation and urban agriculture.

For additional information on the garden, contact Richard Givens, project coordinator, rdhdgivens@aol.com
