HELP a child in Early Head Start – classroom supplies needed!

 

Here’s how you can help a child and family in need right now.

HumanKind’s Early Head Start program provides support for parents and free, full-time child care for infants and toddlers. With your help, all of our center locations can also provide the necessary supplies a child needs in child care — easing the burden on parents.

This additional support allows parents to be empowered to gain better employment, secure housing in safer neighborhoods, and build a strong foundation for life.

Our classroom shelves are starting to look empty. Please help keep the learning going in our Early Head Start centers. You can help by donating items from the most needed list below.

Your gift will directly benefit economically struggling families by providing them with an opportunity to meet their family’s basic needs without jeopardizing the household’s financial position. When basic needs are met – parents can focus on providing food and supplies at home, while their children can develop to reach their full potential and be ready for school.

Early Head Start always needs BOOKS!

Help Fill Our Shelves! Some quantities have been changed so that multiple classrooms can have the same book or they are fan favorites and we would love to have backup copies on hand. Board Book versions are preferred as they last the longest with this age group. Thank you so much for your support for Early Head Start!
