Empowering working families through low-interest car loans 

Ways to Work is an economic empowerment program that provides low-interest car loans to working families. It is designed to help participants move toward financial stability, increased self-sufficiency and advanced career opportunities. In addition to loan assistance, participants receive financial education and coaching – making a substantial difference in their lives.shutterstock_63859651

 In order to qualify* for this program, applicants must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older.
  • Live in the city of Lynchburg, or the counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, or Campbell.
  • Have lived at their current residence for at least six months.
  • Be currently employed for at least six months, working a minimum of 25 hours a week.
  • Not be preparing to file or currently in bankruptcy.
  • Have a valid Virginia driver’s license.
